Apollo ExpansionPEX tees are manufactured using lead-free dezincification-resistant brass. Exclusively designed for use with PEX-A pipe, the fittings offer a larger ID than traditional crimp fittings for full flow resulting in fast delivery of potable water. For use with PEX-A pipe only. Suitable for use in hot and cold domestic potable water and hydronic heating and cooling piping systems. Compatible with Uponor (Wirsbo) ProPEX piping systems. ProPEX is a trademark of Uponor.Key Features
- Designed exclusively for use within Type A PEX piping systems
- Full flow design for maximum water output
- Larger internal diameter results in a 25% greater flow rate within the system
- A cold expansion tool (sold separately) is required for installation
- Go/no-go gauges are never required
- To ensure secure connections every time, fittings cannot be dry fit
